3 out of 5:
Generic but thorough.
by omegareport, Feb 03 '04
newsweek is a pretty
good magazine, not perfect but it has a lot of good
features to entice the reader, I would definitely
recommend newsweek magazine to the casual news junkie. Now for
the more hardcore junkie I think it lacks a little
in it's examination...

3 out of 5: News. Weak?
by Blinks55, Jan 26 '04
newsweek is a magazine that I have subscripted to for
couple of months now. So far, there are good and bad
things about it. Because it is published every
week, it provides updated information about the topics
that are concerned… |

5 out
of 5: The Top News of the Week
by azescobar, Jan 25 '04
Many people consider newsweek to
be a magazine for intellectuals only. This really isn’t
so. The magazine isn’t heavy reading. Although I am not
a subscriber, I read it as often as I can because I find
topics interesting, timely and intriguing. I enjoy the
lively viewpoints and different perspectives. newsweek
magazine
not only provides ground breaking news stories but also
examines what the stories mean to us and the world. I
try to read the most compelling stories in the current
issue when I find newsweek in reception rooms, airlines,
bookstores, the library and also online. A neighbor
regularly gives me back issues so I can catch up with
what is in the rest of each issue. I have been reading
newsweek for almost five years.

If you want to catch
what's going on in the World each week, newsweek
magazine is the
one publication with everything. If you only have time
to read one publication a week, you can find almost
everything you are looking for in this magazine. Some of
the categories only have short stories but you get the
information you need to keep up to date.

Magazine: A Quick Review!
by frazzlespice, Jan 09 '04
I have found newsweek to be an
excellent bargain, and a great way for me to get a quick
news digest. I subscribe to a number of magazines due in
part, to a healthy news addiction developed while
working in the news business, but also a belief,
fostered by my parents, that reading as much as possible
from as many different sources as possible, would be
more beneficial than not.
